Under the impetus of the Regional Council, the principle of the creation of the Institute was adopted by the Lower-Normandy Region, the City of Caen, the University of Caen Lower-Normandy, the Caen Bar Association and the Memorial for Peace. Since this very first day, several partners got involved in our daily fight for human rights and peace: the Regional Council of Britanny and the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
